What is blood pressure?
We are all aware that our heart beats to pump blood around our body to give our organs the energy and oxygen it needs to stay healthy. As the blood flows, it pushes against the sides of the blood vessels. The strength of this “pushing” is our blood pressure. If your blood pressure becomes a problem it usually means that you have either High blood or Low blood Pressure.
Low blood pressure:
Low Blood pressure is less than 90/60, Low blood pressure is usually not a concern in a healthy person’s life, but if you experience these symptoms you should let your doctor know:
Light-headed / dizziness
General feeling of weakness
A temporary loss of consciousness (fainting)
